~ FREE NEW MUSIC! To assure you that we’re still actively writing and producing new music and to show our love and appreciation for you of course, we give you three brand new Blind Spots’ originals—download them here for FREE! The band’s horizons and artistic stimuli have expanded and matured since the release of El Camino Dream, and we’re releasing our inner ANIMAL, (a preview of it, anyway), with “Animal State,” “Abida’s Roll,” and “Animals.” Please share them, blast them out open car windows, direct your peeps to our website, and keep spreading the word! THANK YOU, from the bottom of our big, collective animal heart, for your support in our music. Enjoy

~ Ithaca’s Gunpoets have just released the “I-Town Remix,” a compilation of original songs written and recorded by Ithaca artists including The Horse Flies, John Brown's Body, Sim Redmond Band, Jimkata and many others. Listen to their sweet remix of The Blind Spots’ “Bright Blue Blood” from the debut album El Camino Dream. This is a unique collaboration between genres that shows why we, too, ♥ Gunpoets!

~ Maddy Walsh of The Blind Spots was named Best Female Singer in the Ithaca Times 2010 Soundoff Awards. Citing "a band that rapidly gained a following with a series of strong shows in 2010," Arts Editor Jim Catalano named The Blind Spots' debut disc, El Camino Dream, among the Top Ten CD releases of 2010, and "Star," a track from the CD was picked as one of the Best Songs of the year.
